Kill switch on 80's Mercury 7.5

Hi all!
So I collected my 7.5hp Mercury Brown Stripe today. I also picked up the kill switch adapter to replace the stop button but I'm kinda stuck as to where and how it fits. The stop button on mine just has the black wire attached forward on the engine however the stop switch has a red and black wire. So where does the red wire fit?
Does anyone who has one of these have any detailed pictures of the fitting?

Thanks,

Jack

Black goes to earth. Bolt it to the engine block somewhere. Red goes to where your original stop switch wire came from.

It has to be Coca-Cola. It does take all types of coke apart from Diet, Zero and Caffeine free. I can convert Diesel engines I.e. Volvo Penta to run off Diet Coke, Coke Zero and Caffeine Free Coke though.
