Johnson mail order bits?

Looking for a good Johnson agent in the UK who would be able to supply any spares and lubricants for a Johnson outboard, and who does a good mail order service.

I guess most dealers are over the counter? (never had any dealings with getting boat spares before and the place the engine came from, Oakley, are ruddy hopeless and won't even answer my emails from nigh on two months ago now )

I need to get hold of some bits and pieces, mainly:-

- some of the recommended lubes/sealants
- everything needed to change water pump impeller (which looking at the book will include various O rings and gaskets etc to use in the rebuild, I have an impeller but there is much more to it than that and no point in me starting the job without having everything here already as I can't just pop down the road!)
- some spark plug leads (they are separate from the coils, I checked on the weekend)
- probably some anodes though I haven't assessed that bit yet, I have some that came with the boat

if possible want to get it all packed up into one order and sent to a containerisation place in the UK.

Looking for a smallish company who listens to what the customer wants and treats them like an individual i.e. not the Dixons/Currys school of customer service if you know what I mean!

Given the superb advice I have had on here so far I am more than happy to give my money to a RIBnet trade member if any of you can help

Thanks

Stephen

Stephen.
If you do a search for brp parts it will take you to brp electronic parts catalogue. you can then put yor engine number in and identify the parts you need and then order the parts by numbers to whoever you are going to get them from (L & J Marine are also quite good).
Might just save you some time

Paul

Run by a chap called Steve Bull. Usually got everything you should require and at a good price too.

Ho Hum

South Coast Marine didn't bother to answer my email sent a few weeks ago

There seems to be too much money around these days or something, the majority of suppliers seem to do this, how bl^&^y difficult should it be to give people money???!

On to the next one then....
