Yes thats a 1993/4 model, I know this because I bought one just like the one pictured for a 14ft CJR, cost at the time was about £2,650. worked well on a 14ft-er.

You should be able to tie it down by the model number plate on the engine also.

Iesu Mawr
You could have bought a Soozook DT65 with PTT for £2800 or a manual start Yam 50 for £2k back then.

Well Bobl Bach!! dew dew!!
I had no choice, It was a replacement for a later Johnson model that some Gotsan had pinched whilst in storage, I had like for like insurance and they would only make cheque payable to any Johny dealer, It was a nice little motor for two months, then I made a big mistake one night and left my boat stern to sea at Dale pontoon, I recieved a phone call 7am saying my boat is bouncing stern down with bow line still attached, and to top it off, I forgot to renew the insurance, no worries though, completly stripped engine later that day for a good wash out, had to replace the prop and a few electrical bits of course and straighten the skeg but that engine ran for many years later. I did feel a right Twll tin for not renewing the insure though. I was going to post this experience on the plonker thread, but I have plenty other "experiences" I could post there.

Saw him up at Cresswell Quay a few weeks ago. Retired now and still miserable as sin.
