Info on an evinrude outboard please (model & serial included in post )

I would like to know what year the outboard is and if its a longshaft or short shaft also anymore info given will be great

This will be going on the back of A mercury quicksilver 430hd if its suitable for the Sib

Evinrude 25hp 2 stroke
Model no:BU25RS2
Serial no:B1666811

Are you sure that the "B" is a B & not a D?

It will be buried in here somewhere but I can't find it[emoji848]
