In what speed do you need Nose Cone?

We had it on this old "hard" hull and we maked 60 knots with a 225 johnson on bracket, this boat has also a planing pad. Itīs a Mirage 17 from the beginning today it is 20ī and itīs 205cm wide.

This must help even in slower speeds, sitting on a Hydrolift on this photo.

Not really, try http://www.boatmad.com/forum

Have read before they don't have much effect unless your pushing 70mph, i expect lots of the boatmad guys use them though and know their stuff about them.

it woun't make your hull faster, in some cases it will slow your hull down,
if you are not surface pearsing ( runnin the prop at or above the serface of the water) you don't need it.

Yes we use one on the race boat - we already have a sportmaster gearbox with low water pickups and have it for cornering and pitch stability - no use at all under 70mph according to the guys at Scream and Fly in the US which is the best place for information like this - they are all high speed outboard lake guys there!

If you give more details on your rig - boat, engine, prop, height, weight etc that would help.

got a 70hp Yamaha, this one makes 82-85hp pulls to 74-7600rpm, most likely guna end up on a small Vee hull with a jackplate, or a small skater or cat,
top end on any of them hulls with her on the back, about 70mph, maybe alittle slower on the Vee, the bullet dose help this set up, also keeps um from meltin the powerhead, thats good for them and for me.
