In defence of the VRO

came across this article on the web basically in defence of the much maligned VRO system, thought it an interesting read, so come on you engine guru's are they really as bad as we say?

I owned a Johnyrude 150 GT VRO, 1987 model for a couple of years before it went bang. The VRO wasn't the problem (or the cause of it self destructing) but the thirst for petrol had to be experienced to be believed!
