I need an idea

Hi guys I am in the process of buying a boat at present the sticking point is I only have a rough Idea of what the engine is worth I recon about £1.100 to be fair I know all about it from new it is a 2006 mercury 40hp i belive its the 2 stroke 3 cylinder job not the EFI 4 stroke with electric tilt and trim it is regularly serviced and has a very low hour to years ratio very clean and tidy starts first time every time. any help with a rough idea of price would be great.

Thats what I am worried about like I said very clean and Tidy Garaged between days out very clean

Buying but as I was part of the team that used it I am hoping to get the boat and engine for around 2K
