Hydrive Ultra 15 fluid

Hi Guys,

I checked the steering fluid level on the RIB the other day and it's a bit low. I can't seem to find anywhere that sells the 'pukka' Ultra 15 fluid. Is there any other brand that I can bung in there that's compatible?

Thanks.

Not always

I had the same issue - needed topping up and was going to put ATF in. Looked up my steering manufacturer on the net and the installation instructions said not to use ATF - yours may be different though.

I got some of the right stuff from Aquafax in Hamble.
Had to buy 1.5l but now keep a few mls in a hotel shampoo bottle on board.

Cheers all.

Linda, as searider says, the instructions specifically say NOT to use ATF or brake fluid.

Thanks for the link Endeavour.
