Hulk 22 Fuel Tank, Reserve?

Just bought one of these off ebay and cant see how to use the reserve feature it claims to have. I've tried filling it with fuel then syphoning it out but when I tilt the tank there doesn't seem to be an instant supply of fuel. Anyone else had similar?

Looked at several ads for this tank; didn't see anything that mentioned a reserve feature.

Just done a search and found two types of tank called Hulk 22 tanks.

Orange one is like mine no reserve, red one was also advertised as a Hulk 22litre and has a reserve.

Looking at it, it appears to have a section not available to the lift pipe when laid flat - you would have to siphon beside and no lower than the fuel intake point to test it.

It's a very small reserve.

I've had tanks like that. Probably gives you a couple of litres at best, but only in a stationary situation. Any bouncing around and the fuel sloshes over the internal dam and makes it pointless.

Thanks for all your answers, confirms what I thought. Only plan to use as a reserve to the main 90 litre tank but annoying just the same!

It would suit me fine - a restriction on an actual reserve tank would only be a PITA - if you need it, you need it all.

Yep, if you're relying on the dregs in your reserve tank, then there's 'trouble at mill' as chewy would say
