How easy to sort a broken kill switch

...forgive me being a newbie.. I'm considering buying an outboard where the owner has stated the kill switch needs fixing which he reckons should be straight forward.

Sounds simple in principle, but any reason I should be worried guys?

Thanks guys!

You should be alright, but make sure the engine runs perfectly with the kill switch overridden. Just in case the seller is using the switch as a smoke screen to cover other ills.

No worries.

One big thing though, having established how to bypass the kill switch please please reinstate it before using it on water.
