Honda 5hp 4 - stroke

Bloody plastic starter coil decided to play up and all teeth have rounded off! Bought this a year ago never used or started it up till today when was doing pre check for getting out Moro, is this a common problem as you have plastic biting against metal , the plastic coil seems to be jumping over the metal coil it locks into

Seems this is a fairly common problem. http://www.hondapartsus.com/forum4/h...ms-th1197.html

Part number for BF4.5/5 is 28526-ZV1-033. Not cheap at £40.

Also found this post from someone that's replaced the damn thing three times. Might be something in it about lubricating it with lithium grease.
