Honda 150 drop in Power

My Honda 150 has suddenly lost power

It feels like a 115

It has trouble getting on the plane and is 1500 RPM down at WOT

Have checked or changed the following:

High pressure fuel filter

All other fuel filters

Throttle cable

Any other ideas?

The fuel pipe is not kinked

I have checked the throttle and it is opening up to the bump stop

Apart from the loss in power the engine runs and starts great

Any suggestions?

Fuel system, induction piping checked for obstructions and the throttle linkage operated from the control lever aside, I would be checking ignition system. Compression and sparks. You could easily be one cylinder down and it not be that obvious. I took my boat out after a service and found an HT lead that was off. It was only obvious when I discovered I had a lack of power and was one of the first things I checked.

The only other thing I can think of is the engine management system.

So youve lost 35 Hp ... Did you have a load in the boat by any chance ? because I have found this to be a supremely gutless engine That said .. if your WOT is down on your normal,, some other factors might be at play .. but I have found load to be a major factor here.. particularly when everything is running right

No everything (ie the load in the boat) has been constant

In fact I have another boat exactly the same- prop, weight, fuel load everything and that revs nearly 2000 rpm more
