Help! Having trouble trying to work out price of engines...

Have two DF90 Suzukis 2002,

Done just shy of 300 hours and are coming up for their next service.

Can anyone either advise or point me in the direction of someone who knows what sort of price I could get?

Just the engines, not the controls or looms.

many thanks.

Selling the engines, replacing with new suzukis, extra long shafts, for better keel clearance.

I think the new engines will come with full control sets so may have them to sell also.

No point keeping them as spares.

I recently bought a brand new Suzuki from Yellow Penguin in Poole and they took my old Mercury in part exchange and gave me a very good deal! So they may be worth a shout. My new engine came with looms and control and gauges. Many thanks.

I would have thought the engines would be worth 1800-2000 a piece. Maybe slightly more if in mint condition. Thanks.

They're low hours, but still over 13 years old, so £2k or there-abouts each seems reasonable. New owner will need remote and loom at £300+.

As comparison.

2005 XL-model on EBay for £3,000.
Honda 90hp outboard engine BF90A | eBay

2009 L-shaft model being sold privately, £4,250.
