Good outboard service in Essex or Kent?

Hi all,

Can anyone please suggest me a good and reasonably priced outboard service in Kent or Essex? I need to service a Honda BF60.

I was using the services of Essex Outboard in Battlesbridge, but it seems that they don’t need customers anymore. 2 months on holiday with message on voicemail that they will be back to business on 1st of July, but now changed the message saying that not taking bookings till October. Not responding to emails or answering the phone. Good luck then, I will look for someone else.

Any suggestions welcome, I’m ready to drive from London with my engine, cheers.

I’ve used this bloke before, only once for a Honda BF6, but he seems to know his stuff.

If your looking a bit further north theres Anthony Ketley mobile from Shotley ( he,s a tohatsu dealer ) then the normal honda agents Morgan marine at Brightlingsea or if you risk suffolk my go too people are Seamark Nunn in Felixstowe (probhably the most honest men on the planet ) Expensive but you can take your boat and leave it for a week with no worries ,if thats the sort of service you like !

Had a shocking experience with my previous Honda 100hp at Sea Mark Nunn and some rather obscure email exchanges with the owner. Ultimately I snatched it back and took it to Robert Perry at Axminster who found the cracked head gasket very quickly and repaired without any fuss.
I’m not sure there’s anyone in Essex that I would happily recommend, would be more inclined to head back down to Axminster unfortunately.

It is not that hard to do the service yourself, Saves a lot of hassle
