getting back on water

I laid up my Rib in October last year after having the engine serviced and winterised.

I'm going to relaunch soon and wondered if its just a case of topping up the tubes, giving the boat a good clean, fitting the bungs and starting the engine.

Are there any special procedures, or does anything need to be done to the engine etc?

The only deteriation I have noticed is rust on the water/fuel separater. Should this be replaced or does it require any maintenance?

thanks

The fuel/water seperator needs a filter change every 6 months or so.

Thanks,

With very basic mechanical skills, could I change the filter myself?

I have no manual...any tips welcome.

Surely this should have been done when the motor was serviced!

Assuming it's a "spin off" filter, then it's no different to changing an oil filter on your car.
