Fuel Consumption:Yamaha 115 4st Vs Mercruiser 3.0l

Hi,
having recently sold my 5.6 Avon Adventure, i'm now looking at a bowrider of some kind just to keep the kids entertained until I can make plans for my next rib.

How do you think fuel consumptoin would compare on a 17ft Sea Ray bowrider with a 3.0l Mercruiser (130hp) as opposed to my 18ft Avon Adventure with a Yamaha 115hp Four Stroke EFI.

We on average, we were putting between 25 - 30l a day into the tanks of the Avon.

I presume all 3.0l Mercuiser lumps are carburettor as opposed to EFI ?

Thanks
Mark
