Flushing twin outboards at the same time

Have been pondering ways to speed up the boring chores at the end of a day on the water.

Has anyone got experience of using 2 sets of muffs and a splitter hose to flush twins at the same time? Would the average hose have sufficient water pressure?

The engines are 2000 Merc 90hp 2 strokes.

I used to flush my twin Etecs like that, but we do have very high water pressure & flow here.

depends entirely on your water supply. It's more to do with the flow rate of your supply than the static pressure. You can help things by getting some 1 inch hose running from the tap to your splitter

Thanks all. That's given me enough confidence it's worth a try anyway!
