Flexible engine trunking

Does anybody have any links or contacts for a good supplier of engine trunking ? I'm after a either the wrap around stuff or flexible plastic hose material to cover the usual wiring leading from the engine to the splash-well grommet.

I have a loom, fuel line, 2 battery leads and 2 tele-flex control cables to hide, all in the same trunk so I need a couple metres in black on this occasion but my usual place doesn't have any

Got mine, plus the grommets, from Midway Boats in Cheshire. Proper Yamaha stuff but ever so slightly expensive for 2 metres of 'ose!

I had to chuckle at one of our fellow RIBnobburs north of the border visiting his local 'recycling' centre and chopping the 'ose off a couple of vacuum cleaners though.

I'm certainly not getting my trousers pulled down at a marine supplier!

Look after the pennies.....

You can use hose and tank connectors for koi ponds if you are on a budget. Comes in different sizes and uses stainless screws in the fittings.

Try a local electrical wholesalers, I got 10m of 32mm flexible conduit for about €35 including a few thru bulkhead fittings.

This might be of some use: http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/cable-...PSF_412540|alt

I wanted to get a grey hose to match hull and tube colour so went down the vacuum hose route. Got this one from Amazon...

Try some pond equipement suppliers, may sound odd but they do black trunking of various sizes for pond pumps etc, I bought some myself to tidy some wires up, may fit the job and will be cheaper I expect than anything stamped 'marine'.
