Evinrude 50hp 1993 Ex RNLI Gearbox

Hi,
Does anyone know/have a gearbox for an Evinrude E50RNLIB 1990's for sale? (Commercial Evinrude 50's that used to be on the RNLI Atlantic 21)

BIll Higham might have one as he gets quite a bit of RNLI stuff, could be cheaper to get a new engine rather than a gearbox off him though.

Thanks Chewy, that might be something I could look into as a last resort, the engines have just come off the back of my Atlantic 21. I was hoping to stick them both on my mk1 Rigid radar project. Should be interesting

You should be able to get another Rude 50hp easy enough and keep the other for spares?

Is it the same box as a 70 evenrude? I have a 70 that I believe is also ex atlantic 21 which came with a big box of new spares including some gearbox gears and bearings.

No, the 70 has a larger lower unit than the 50
