Etec, You Gotta Love 'Em.

My 250 in storage for 18mths. New battery, squeeze of the tit, turn the key, not a fraction of a turn before bursting into life.

Sweet! Enjoy. I wish I was home enjoying the weather too. Think I'm going to treat mine to its 6 year service when I get home, was missing a little at low rpm the last couple of times out and it is pretty much due.

I always fill at Asda too, the 24h drive through makes it so easy compared to most places our way. I wonder if we'd get another couple of knots on some fancy stuff. My Beemer manages about 3mpg more on Shell Optimax over Tesco/Asda stuff.

On 2nd thoughts the E-tec would probably throw its toys if you put optimax brand in it.

Yup Even after being winterised (push button self winterisation) & stood outside all winter, they start on the first 1/2 turn.

Is that from the sea or the on-board hot tub?
