June is usually good. We have a good arrangement with the lady who runs Bryher. Good anchorage, camping, pub etc. Look forward to it.

All done, superb service from Robin Curnow.

As it 'appens, the Etec developed a g/box oil leak. I contacted Ian at Liverpool PB (supplying dealer), apparently it was a known fault, a BRP bulletin had been circulated. Some 250's had been fitted with an O ring made of unsuitable material, it shrank when coming in contact with oil. BRP couldn't identify those fitted with the faulty seal and had to wait for them to be reported. On inspection, the engineer found that very little oil had been lost and the remaining oil was in perfect condition, no water ingress.
I decided that whilst the boat was in having the warranty work carried out, I might aswell have the 1st service brought forward by a few months.

Full service inc. 6 new iridium plugs, £349.00. Total.
