the bar is quite sturdy so if the engine needs stripping down that will make an excellent work bench. plus they have a sink behind the bar for cleaning out the carb if any muck in there.

checked last night with insulated pliers against the block and pulled it about 30 times couldnt get a spark out of the plug, (tried 2 plugs), the end of the plug was coated in new petrol so the fuels getting there in the cylinders, someone mentioned points, how do i get to those,and what am I looking for please? - shall I take more pics - secretly scared of taking off the main cover off as the recoil might smack in the head!

Is there a kill cord on the motor? Or more to the point, is there supposed to be a kill cord on the motor?
