That they may be - but (IMHO) not the most reliable outfit around...

Could NOT agree with you on that one. Have bought a rib from them and also got the engine serviced by them.. top class service & value for money.

Good

I have no intention getting into a Lennie-bashing/supporting debate on here as I am in business in Ireland and a frank exchange of opinion could land me in court!

But if they were selling life-rafts on the Titanic, I'd swim.

Fair 'nuff so. Let me put it this way - if you drove 480miles to look at a RIB that was in "excellent condition" and "ready to go to sea", would you expect a feckin hole* in the keel/hull?? No, me neither . And I wouldn't be letting the same individuals next nor near anything that required me trusting them in ANY way. There was more too, but that was enough for me....

Having said all that - if peeps on here have had good times in Dungarvan, more power to yer elbow/s- I'm not detracting from your experiences, or doubting you. My bad luck maybe

Whereabouts are you?The mechanic I use is in Bangor, Co Down and he's v. good. Average cost about £70-£100 and he always removes the leg to grease the bolts. Is yours carbed or computerised?
