Now has a Golf.

I read about this and Diesel aero engines some years ago, and I thought it was quite neat.
A supercharged diesel two stroke with two pistons per cylinder.
The germans used it in the Junkers Jumo in WW2.

Only 26 moving parts? Out of 31? And that's good - is it?

And how do the two seperate 'bits' relate to the drive shaft? If they are moving at constantly different speeds, how does that work?
