That's certainly an interesting project you've taken on, and I know a lot of people will be very interested to see how it all comes together.

What's your relationship with Torqeedo? How involved are they with the project?

Hi john,

Pleased your watching my project.

I am a field service engineer working for Torqeedo. This is very much a unofficial project which i am unofficially supported by my colleagues in Torqeedo.

I am striving to us my project to promote electric propulsion and demonstrate to all thats possible and where the technology is today.

I am also very keen for influencial persons like yourself to have a go and create your opinion!

I look forward to putting more photos and info on ribnet

Kind regards
Jamie

* I suspect the Boss's desire to sweep it may be working to the OP's advantage...

All the data you need is probably out there to get a good guide on endurance for your sweepstakes. Just look up the watt hour usage for the motor on a similar boat and then use 90% of the battery watt hour max.

353V battery pack - keen to see what approach you take to make it safe & how you will monitor battery status.

I've got a donor ski boat that I keep dreaming of making electric.

Good luck with the project.
