Had this myself with muffs, gave them away with my last boat !! Always stick them in a tub now plus have a plastic 45 gallon drum with a hole cut in the side for the big engines on the boat.

We normally use these for the bigger ones but it was all i had to had. Usually when this happens I just stick a bungee around them which gives a tighter seal but we had the engine on a stand rated to 20hp so it was more important to keep it steady, didn't have another to hand and TBH I didn't think it'll cause such debate, guess that's Ribnet for you though
