I did a few runs at WOT and no trim problems, so that fault has now been fixed.

So back to 100%.

I did ask about the timing, and was told the new flywheel won't need timing adjustment, out of all the ones they have done timing has never been an issue.

I haven't done anything at anger, only got an engine test for about 30 mins, this included a bit of everything and no alarms, and now I don't have the foil rubbing it seems a lot quieter.

Great news. It's always satisfying when you do the fault-finding and subsequently effect your own repair, usually saving yourself a bundle....
