Durajet outboards

Does anyone have any experience with these outboards,

http://www.premiermarine.us/durajet.php

I need a 25hp with a prop guard for my safety boat and these look a lo better then a std cage prop guard,

Has anyone got one or had a play with one?

Mike

I used one on a 25hp Mariner. It was very good, some loss of performance but not as much loss as a prop guard. The trouble is they only make them for Evinrude i think. We had a one of made for us to try.

I think we have loaned it to Avon to do some trials on the ERB380's.

I would be quite interested in finding out how that went. Do you have a contact with them?

Cheers,

Wonder why they do not do larger sizes? There seem to be a number of lower unit jet kits with horizontal pick ups.

I guess that people who run big outboards really want top end performance?
