So far never had a complaint from the neighbors but in addition to the noise also the smoke makes me feel ashamed...It seam like i always hit a calm day when i do the winterizing in November( takes a loooong time before idle rpm goes to normal for fogging oil procedure in +3C) and also first start up in may creates a rather nice cloud....
In between only uses the hose attachment, not sure if it does much good but no harm anyway. I am much more worried about the trailer bearings than salt in the outboard, hate to think about it when leaving the trailer for a daytrip, have been considering a mobile flushing sytsem but never got any further with the idea.
