commercial user 4 st

Does anyone have experience, pref commercial, on use of 4 st Johnson or Suzi in the 200 to 250hp range, singles or twins. Out of interest I would also like to hear from Yam 4st users in the larger sizes.

I need a sounding board for a customer.

Cheers

John

The summer that was we changed 225 Opti to 250 Suz on 3 commercial boats, 2 of the engines has today almost 700 hours and we only had one small electrical problem in the key switch on one engine.

Hi Petrov.
Noticed any big changes in fuel consumption and speed when you changed to Suz ?. What about the mid-range torque on the Suz compared to optis ?

(We have ordered Suz 250's to put on our Tornado 750's, the boats will be shipped from UK in April we hope !)

Was at the boatfair in Gøteborg this weekend, No Ospreys. This is the fair that a lot of Norwegians visit, so I think there might be some salespotential if you join next year.

Regards Roy

We got lower consumpiton on the engines but i dont know how much lower.
Boat has same speed as the opti, much because consoles are far front because need of deckspace in the back so weight of the 4-stroke was only good for the boat.
We make our own exhibitions together with some other brands, than people have possibility to do testdrives.
