i have removed the carbs they were spotless have blown the jet through but still dead, any one no where i can get it fixed in or around hertfordshire tried barnet marine but they are to busy rigging boats for customers

if you are up to it i would strip the carb down as much and soak it overnight in clean diesel and then see if any small holes are blocked with a thin piece of fuse wire,, problem with carbs is the very tiny holes that become blocked within the block itself,did you gently push the reed valves see if any were stuck or open when you had it off ,bit late now but i have never used winterisation spray on any of my outboards in 35 years of having one ,seems to cause more problems than they solve . all i do is a drop of 2 stroke oil down the cylinders and block up the intake with a oily rag then turn it over bby hand a few times every month or so ,

its the first time i have ever winterised a motor ,wish i hadnt now !! i havent even had a splutter out of it today didnt touch reed vales but evry thing inside and behind the carbs looked spotless no gunge or anything

yep purchased a full 25L first thing this morning from esso thought i would need the rest next week! when it would of had its first outing

Spray some premixed fuel directly down the carb mouths. If your reeds are sticky this may help free them up.
