Can't find Hose clamp supplier

I'd like to appeal to anyone that can supply info on where I can purchase some hose clamps suitable for Marine use (316L Stainless) to clamp to 28mm Diameter.

I'm not after the usual Jubilee things, but something with a lot more strength like to one in the photo.

I've looked on ebay and done a google but all I'm turning up is either the cheap Jubilee ones , hose clamps in plated mild steel or all other sizes apart from the one I want.

Thanks.

You could try Hyphose:

http://www.hyphose.co.uk/branches.html

They tend to do mostly mild steel, but do some stainless or may be able to get hold of it for you. The guys at the Portsmouth trade counter used to be very helpful, though it has been a few years since I dealt with them.

Cheers

Chris

Try a custom bike shop Andy-I've got 2 exactly like that holding the shotgun pipes on Liz's xs650 that came from a bike shop.

If you run a search on ebay under all categories for "stainless hose clip" you will get a larger range of clips some of which look very Heavy Duty I am sure you could find something suitable.

Like Nos I've used those type of clamps in bike related uses.
I have one holding the Kerker exhaust together on my Zed at the moment.

As he said, try a couple of custom bike related sites.

On the other hand it may be worth trying some of the people who make stainless steel exhausts for cars, as I think they may use them too.

If you want them in quantity, then this company is pretty good... http://www.teconnex.com/home/homeframenet.html

If you only want a couple, then Hyphose would be your best bet.

Thanks everyone.

I've emailed the link you gave me Leapy, however I've still drawn a blank on ordering one off the tinternet tonight.

I'll phone up Hyphose later in the week.

I sell them, and they are called banjo clamps, but the lowest I can get is about 29mm. Only got 47mm ones in at the moment tho'. Could possibly pick up a couple from the wholesalers tommorrow ....

these are the ones I stock, between £5 and £7 each:
