Breaking in a new motor

Hey i was just wondering, what do you have to do to break in a Honda 115? I know its somthing to do with hours and changing the throttle everyone 1 minute or so but how hard is this? THanks

he doesnt have the instructions yet

choppy you are doing the same as me - trying to find out everything you can about your new toy before you get it - thus minimising time wasted once its been picked up.

Id give anything to get hold of a suzuki df140 manual in pdf format...

Well if my Suzuki DF90 is anything to go by, the manual don't say alot!

But what it does say is-

Break-in = 10hrs
For first 2 hrs, run at idle speed in gear for 15 mins, then for next 1hr45 run at no more than half throttle (3,000rpm).
For next 1hr run at no more than 4,000rpm, then
for final 7hrs run at any speed, but no more than 5 minutes at full throttle at any time.

This manual is for 90, 115 and 140hp

That is correct cant waste my next summer tryin to find out all these importatn facts
