Age of Evinrude Engine

Is there an easy way to work out the age of an Evinrude Outboard? I've googled a bit and can't find any lists. I think it's around 10yrs old, but not positive. It's a model BE30EESS Serial# B 2439416. It's a 30HP black coloured outboard, electric start remote controlled.

word Introduces to establish the model year. See matrix below.

Example: 1998 Evinrude 115 = E115TLECS the EC represents 98 or 1998.

Makes yours a 1990!

I found this site pretty handy a while back when I was buying a way old Evinrude 10hp.
