I need to keep my A frame camera rolling 24/7 I think, caught someone out earlier in the summer like that. Was it one of those two piles of s**t in the corner forward of me? If you've got damage you could go to harbours on the off chance they had a camera pointing in the right direction.

Back on topic, the DF100 is a 're-invented' motor. Soozook introduced a new range of 70-90hp outboards last year, all based on the same motor. They dropped the old DF60 & DF70 which were too heavy and also the original DF90, which was the same motor as the DF115. The old DF90 was 're-invented' as the 'new' DF100, as Soozook previously didn't have a 4-stroke 100.
So, the DF100 is old tech and the DF90 is a newer design motor which is a lot lighter and smaller cubic capacity. By all accounts, the DF90 is very economical, but I'm yet to try one out so can't comment further. I don't know how many 90hp etecs Mollers has run.

RIBase
The new DF90 seems to have been a big success at Redbay. Of course they tend to use two of them together...

But at least if you don't touch it in that time period you won't affect the warranty in any way

All part of the plan in my case

It may have been. It looks like skeg damage from a raised auxillary, probably done when someone was manouvering out from the pontoon. I've patched the gelcoat but will need some black rubber straking from Ribcraft to go over the top as the damage is to the flange the sponson is glued to.

I'm a great fan of E-tecs in general however the 3 cylinder 90HP is not known for the out and out power that the larger V4 and V6 blocks provide compared to other engines in the same class.

For example if you re-engined a rib that was running an older carbed Johnson or Evinrude 90hp which were based on the V4 block you would see a drop in performance albeit an increase in efficiency.

Would ribcraft not uprate the transom to take a 115 e-tec now that would be a good decision I used to run the same on my 5.25 Osprey and loved it.
