9.9 Yamaha

I have a Yamaha 9.9 (15hp), and I've been noticing that the amount of water exiting from the outboard has reduced, its not coming out with pressure. the impeller has been replaced recently but the problem still persisted.

what could be the fault?

It's possible you have a blockage up there. Try running a hose up it the other way. I've done it a few times in the past and it's sorted the issue

Get a tiny pipe (like off the WD40 or lighter refuelling can) and stick it in the pipe where the water exits. Suck on the pipe and although it may taste revolting you should clear the blockage if there is one

I was suggesting getting a normal hose, turning the water on, and placing it over where the water tell tail comes out.
