Don't wait then! Your 585 is more than capable of cross-channel cruises

And we'd be very happy to accompany you. Let us know if you fancy it - in either boat!

There are usually cross-channel BIBOA cruises each year too!

Petrov Ė So which, in your option should I buy the 250 VMAX HPDI or the 300HPDI ? Going on say an 8.1m Scorpion.

John Ė You're complete right and I probably will, but I needed a unique selling point for my better half. That and she can sun bath on the front Ė her only complain about our current boat !

Louse Ė thanks for the kind offer will definitely take you up on it later in the year. There are some more like minded soles that I met on a Adv Power Boat training course the other weekend.

Must also join BIBOA. Their Herme (sp) cruise looks great fun

Acctually i don`t think the boat will be faster with the 300HPDI and if i am right (can be wrong) the fuel consumption is almost the same.
So there is three thing to choose between.

1. Good looking than the 250 VMAX
2. Price of engine than the 250 VMAX
3. 300 is 300 that`s looks cooler on the transom

2-1 for 250 VMAX but i would choose the 300HPDI because it`s still 300 and you will be pretty lonely with that engine.
