50p a litre from a normal garage, even less from a fuelling pontoon (less duty if you're in a boat!)....

Codprawn, were you in Guernsey? If you fuel from the waterside it should be cheaper.

Well it said 51p on the pump - Queen Liz marina St Peter Port.

Remember prices have shot up a hell of a lot because of Bush's antics and now the Russians.

Having said that I still wouldn't mind paying the oil prices = it's our brilliant government's fuel duties that cripple us - nearly £0.84 per litre now - that's £3.81 a gallon!

In the USA they are moaning about the prices as well - average is about $1.80 or about £1 a gallon!!!!!! I know there is slightly more in a proper gallon but even so.
