2 stroke Oil for Mariner 150

hi,
recently I bought a mariner 150 from '96 with seperate oil tank.

for my optimax 200 I use DFI oil from quicksilver but I suppose it's for the mariner another 2 stroke oil.

What can you suggest me to use?

Hi barflyrib I also have a Mariner 150 2 st and I use Quicksilver 2 cycle as they call it know but use when stuck any oil that states TCW_3 on the label.

Dont use opti oil!. Just use normal TCW-3 Oil.

Use marine 2 stroke oil (as oppose to bike or lawn mower).

It is totally different and considerably cheaper than opti oil.

No need to buy quicksilver, there are plenty of other perfectly good alternatives
