Hi
Have this tender which I need a new engine for, but I need it short-shaft with remote control. Anyway not sure whether to get a Honda or a Yamaha
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I would go for which ever one is the lightest which i can imagine is the Yamaha. Both are pretty much equally good. Also pick one which has the closest dealer to you so if you need help you don't have far to come.

If I had the choice I would go for the 4 stroke they look awesome.

Thanks
Yeh was planning on a four stroke and Yamaha is my nearest dealer, so Yamaha is probably the way to go. Also does anyone now on a 15hp short shaft outboard with Power-tilt in the UK (I know they sell them in the US so..! Just woundering)

Same applies to the Honda, the BF15 and BF20 are both the same weight.
BF20 is available with PTT in the UK.
