115 Mercury

Does anyone know the max. revs at WOT for the 115 Mercury 2 stroke, '97 vintage?

4.750 - 5250 @WOT.

Thanks a lot Michael, all I have to do now is the *+@* thing running! Looks like another case of Mercury-stator-itis. I'll keep you posted on progress.

What is that +@ thing you are talking about ?
Do you mean that you have to rev up to 5.250 at WOT ?
It isn't necessary you know...

I meant "a swear word" because the motor isnt sparking properly. As I suspected the stator has gone high resistance. Anybody got a spare stator for a 4 cylinder Merc '97-ish?
