Vive La revolution!

Ok.. Now I’ve got three of these Green Blobby things, I feel that I can start the following campaign without people accusing me of blob jealousy….

Please can we get rid of the stupid things, Mr J.K ?

All they seem to do is encourage petty minded behaviour from the “less than mature” element here on this site. They aren’t exactly a true reflection on people’s knowledge are they? I mean, for feck’s sake, I’ve got three of ‘em and I know this side, just, of feck’ all! At least I know that I know not and so generally won’t give any serious advice on boating matters! Engineering yes, any aspect of QA you want yes, basic common sense things yes but boating? Nope, not me. I’ll leave that to the likes of the other Jono and the myriad of other seasoned Ribsters on here.

There are people on here who, quite frankly, talk garbage and some of it quite dangerous
.
I am confident that most people who log on here can spot the idiot from the knowledgeable fairly quickly and learn to ignore the advice from the unreliable. However, what if a poor “newcomer” can’t differentiate and takes some of the , less than sound, advice that is put forward by people with plenty of “Green Blobs” ? At best they may just be put off a little, at worst they could end up in serious trouble. Then what? I know that we should all, ultimately, be responsible for our own actions, but……..

So do YOU think the greenies are are a good idea still? A harmless bit of fun or an incident waiting to happen?

I say "scrap the little feckas now!"

Jono

Good for you Jono - my blobs seem to go up and down like a YO-YO - personally I have never bothered with them - people seem quick enough to post derogatory remarks about me and to knock points off my credibility - just as well I don't do the same when they make stupid comments!!!

Robin
Would I do at 1.20 posts/day?
I seem to have gone back down to 1 greenie, so if you all hit me with a red we can see what happens.

Now, where did I leave my wheel, this little Guiniea Pigs need its excercise.

P.S. How do you find out where your hits are comming from? I would like to know if the reds came from this thread or the other cr@p I post.

Mark if you click on your rep mark (on the left with the tick/ cross) you will see your own points and whether you had positive or neg or 'even' rep. on that particular post.

I think it would be great to see who dishes em out also

A red is wing its way to you now, please send one back.
Can I say in support of my cause that 1 blob must be easier to kill than 3.
