Give it time, "that person" will soon spot this thread and is bound to comment (with photos and extra smilies).

Colin. It is expensive. The engine starts burning its sump oil, the revs build and build and band build and then........... BANG.

a peugeot 306 Dturbo i had did that, then it threw all the sump oil out the exhaust and onto the rear windscreen. peugeot replaced the engine and turbo eventually, then i sold it!
