Turn off ads

Doug - go here: http://www.rib.net/forum/profile.php?do=editusergroups and make sure you are a member of the "noads" group - if your Q was triggered by the sudden appearance of the banner ad then that doesn't seem to work. I believe that is a "bug" and has now been flagged up to the techies to look into.

I just joined the noads group too but they are still appearing ATM .

Personally I didn't mind the banner ad before-when it was Black Dog and Ribshop or Barnet Marine almost all the time

I assume you mean the banner at the top?

the banner ad then that doesn't seem to work. I believe that is a "bug" and has now been flagged up to the techies to look into.

Banner ads seem to be pretty irrelevant and nothing to do with RIBs (at least not the rigid inflatable type).

If you use Firefox, try Adblock Plus. I was wondering what ads you were talking about until I turned it off.

Sorry for the ads showing today even if you had them turned on. The system is working like before so if you had turned them off they will be off now. Once again, apologies for this not working for most of the day.
