Social Knowledge

Help

Every time I go to a new page on Rib.net I get a box that's asking me to log on to socialknowledge.net.

It's annoying, as I have to close it to do anything.

Is anyone else getting it?

I've tried other forums I use and it doesn't happen on them.

Nasher.

My bet is this should only happen to new users - maybe they were testing Mind Control on you lads.

I'm kinda mindless, so didn't get a call......

I know the new admins have been doing some back end modifications and tweaks. I've highlighted this thread to them.

I shouldn't laugh - I see that they are promoting our impoverished isle:

Linky

Speaking of Impoverished - the woman in pink owes me money

I was stumped at first, I could not figure out why that would happen. Then I remembered we installed a little add-on which puts our Terms of Service and Community Rules on the bottom right of every page. We call the TOS from the Social Knowledge server so if changes are ever made, we make them to one place and it's gets shown at all the partner sites.

Not happening this evening, but from your reply Andy R you've not said if you've fixed it or not.

If it's going to come back sometimes it will seriously effect my enjoyment of the site, and I'm sure others will agree.

Nothing for me either on Firefox and XP. Not that I'm disappointed, of course.

Richard, my apologies, this should not be happening, the issue should be fixed. Can you press F5 to force your browser to load the page and not pull from cache and report back.
