Just my opinion of course......
Couldn't agree more - very relaxing on the eye. Some people have pages in bright blue etc - hurts my eyes so much can't even look at it.

Logo is great - only just noticed it but it's great!!!

The RIBnet vBulletin style has quite a few subtle changes from the default, mainly for ease of use. It works well, and I think it looks OK.

What would you like to see changed? I'm open to suggestions.

John

Well there are allot of features that VB has that arnt being used. Id like to see quick reply. And the tools above both quick reply and advanced view.

You can have more than one style and allow the user to pick what ever they like.

Theres more but they are more advanced to set up.

They're not really the "skin", they are just some of the vBulletin options that I have chosen not to use as I don't think they add anything significantly useful. Quick reply is a particular case in point.

Tell me more about the other things you mentioned. Which tools are you referring to? What do you mean by "Advanced view"? Do you mean Threaded display mode? If so, I have yet to see a forum where it works well.

There are lots of bells and whistles on the current Vbulletin release, but I have made a definite effort to keep things simple. Despite this I still get emails from people who need help finding their way round . . .

Despite Codprawn's protestations I am always open to suggestions, but I might take quite a lot of persuading.

John

How about selling the logo as a high definition file so we can put it on 'stuff' such as jackets? Proceeds could go to something like British Disabled Waterski Foundation.

Looks good but am I the only one that thinks it looks a little like a shark or crocodile is 'eating' the word RIBnet? Nice one JK!

John, would you be against 'turning on' the option to run personal banners in the signature part of the posts? - an option to payed up members maybe? Might encourage more people to sign up...

just a thought
