Server move
As part of the planned improvements for RIBnet I will be moving the forums to a new server sometime this weekend.

The major benefit will be the reliability of the new host, which is much more resiliant than the forums' current home so should avoid any major downtime in the future.

I have done a dummy run of the move and it went very smoothly, so I don't anticipate any major problems. There is 300MB of data to move though, so it will take a little while! I expect the forums to be closed for a maximum of 2 hours.

Just under an hour to backup 300MB, copy from the old server to the new server, and restore the backup!

It was, but I've sorted it!

We've moved from a server in London to one in sunny Florida, so the "server time" is now GMT -5 hours. Should all be correct now

Err, just one (or three) little things (and I ain't moanin' - honest!)

The link in the email notofication needs updating
The quick-jump buttons need updating
The RIBnet forums logo (top LH corner of page) needs updating
