I posted the above with Safari but got the following message instead of my post:

Safari can’t open the page.
Safari can’t open the page “http://rib.net/forum/newthread.php?do=postthread&f=31”. The error is: “unknown error” (CFURLErrorDomain:303) Please choose Help > Report Bugs to Apple, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.

ps Boatmad isn't any better!

It's fine on 3.2.1 which is the version of Safari that I'm currently running.

I'll download the latest version and have a look.

I had similar glitches about a year ago.
Got fed up trying to fix it so I just switched to Firefox.
Downloadable from the Apple site here
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...lafirefox.html
I have been using it for the last year or so without any hitch at all.
Another alternative is Opera. www.opera.com/download/?platform=mac
Both very simple to install and use.

OK, I've tested it with 4.0.2 on Windows and it's fine.

Are you running it on a Mac?

No it's on a PC running XP, my work PC is running on XP and it's fine - I think it's the home PC that's just playing up!
