I must admit that I was quite put off the whole flag thing by my last experience. They were a mass of aggro to get made due to the hopeless company that I chose to produce them. They were excellent when they finally arrived, but demand seemed to have dried up so I ended up selling them at a loss. Even then it took ages for them to go!

So, how many people actually want to buy a flag, and how much would you pay?

The last one I had was brilliant, really good quality and was a lot better than what I expected

I would like 2 (at least) for now - until I lose one again - and would pay £15 or so each?

What was the minimum order quantity?

Quality pennants and flags; blank or branded with your design

Sailing club has used in pass - think they only ordered 20...

If you're looking for a reputable supplier, I can happily recommend this company.

No connection whatsoever. Just a satisfied client.

I find the red bow tie enough to scare off poachers...

We paid £10 each for the ones produced by Tim - this included a £2.00 donation to the cause.

I'd be up for a new one.

I am fortunate to have one of the originals. I would buy again as long as they were the same quality as they're very well made and heavy so cope with the elements well.

Given John's experience on this ploughing the charity money into this may be questionable if the chance of a return is not great. Group buys are notoriously fraught with problems and headaches. if it was easy to make money this way (for yourself, for charity or to cover the costs of running the forum) then I'd guess John or SK would have shown more interest in it and probably been less willing to throw the artwork around.

The low hassle factor is for to use a company like:

Club Kit

Another sailing club uses this as there means to get branded clothing out!
