It's a bug in the app and the developer is working on a fix. In the meantime, start the app in portrait orientation.

I've tried that and it still doesn't work, everything on the left side for about two inches doesn't work, I have to turn the ipad round and round till I can achieve what I'm trying to do, I'm in portrait mode now and the left side is just black, but heh ho!

No ok here Steve on my iphone the only thing I have notice lately is that everytime I go to it it starts from the opening page of the rib on the shore then the control page.

Yes, it's normal. You should only see those ads if you're not logged in though.

Must say I don't get this happing with my pc when logged, only time somethings high lighted in any post on my pc, is if it's a link to something.
Maybe you chaps have some marketing spy software running in the background, like hidden programs of incredibar or something like that.

You definitelt shouldn't get this if you are logged in. If it's the RIBnet ads you should see a tooltip when you put your cursor on the link, saying "Shopping link added by SkimWords".

Does that happen? Does anything else appear? Where do the links go? (Right click and "copy link")

It's not the RIBnet ads John, it happens with certain words on peoples posts for example in your reply to me now , the word tooltip would appear in blue and when you put the cursor over it a small ad will appear for tools.

When I look elsewhere on the forum then come back to it, it's gone.

BTW tooltip was just an example it didn't actually do it on that word but it's key words like that it happens on.

I will try running spybot which SPR suggested.

Not sure why, but I can no longer access threads on my Blackberry Bold. Site appears as normal, but bombs me out as soon as I click on a thread.

Works fine on my Blackberry Playbook so is only an issue on the mobile.

Anyone else having this problem?
